“Genderless” “boys”

I was inspired to do this post after reading Sofia’s post on parents raising genderless children. Seeing one of the Sixteen and Pregnant girls (from MTV) on the cover of US Magazine this afternoon further compelled me. What is wrong with people? On one side hippy beta providers with confusing ideas on biology (based on wishful thinking) and on the other side, a bunch of ghetto proles who spend less time with their children than they do at the bar or in front of their webcam.
The “Now” pictures frighten the living Ward Clever out of me! Sadly, I can’t say that those pictures shock me although they should. The only thing missing are the pictures of “parents” who can’t take their eyes off of their smartphone or other gadget to notice if their children are: A). Present B). Breathing C). D). Needing food or water or E). Watching their parents with a gaze of utter contempt that they so richly deserve. Sometimes they also have headphones on: hey, you wouldn’t want your young ‘un to interrupt you while you check out the newest Lady Gaga single would you…?
Sorry, the picture of the ahem, “lady” taking a pic of her voluminous rear acreage while her son watches must have knocked out a few neurons; I can’t remember what C). was supposed to be…
LOL . Dat ass.
I often wonder how those pics end up online. Did they upload them? Or did their prospects? If it’s the former it seems like the world suddenly lost all its self awareness.
NSFW Link:
They go on sites like http://www.isanyoneup.com
A site literally designed to shame and embarrass men and women who send nude pictures to others.
Yet some self submit too. To try and get a t-shirt of all things. It boggles my mind.
Ha of course I went straight to the Miami section. I bet you I will find someone know. What’s up with the dinner plate nipples, MIA?
Flavia, whats your take on this:

Its an article about some phone survey results on family situations. Its interesting to me that they termed domestic abuse as assault – makes me curious about what kind of language the phone survey used. Same thing with the results on slapping a child in the face.
I think its pathological and insane. There is obviously an agenda there to paint, even the most beaten down of men (White Westeners) as violent bigots. Just another attempt to move the zeitgeist further into the absurd.
“The results of the survey were released in Calgary Monday, when the Alberta Council of Women’s Shelters (ACWS) hosted its annual “Breakfast With the Guys” fundraiser, an event aimed at empowering men and boys to take a stand against domestic violence.”
The word empower has lost all its meaning.
And for the record, any human has the right to defend themselves from physical harm. What is scary is that 90% of Albertan men do not seem to think so.
“only 52 per cent disagreed with the statement, “If a woman wears provocative clothing, she’s putting herself at risk for rape.”
SMH.
And Alberta is the right wing province….bah.
Ok, Cool. Sometimes when facing such crazy I doubt my own sanity – hence why I spend time online. Because I have no doubts that this wouldn’t be that far off from the US depending on the demographic polled.
But yeah, first the fact that they’re saying you should NEVER hit a woman, no matter what the circumstances, then that you can’t do some mild disciplining of a child…. Ugh.
Wouldn’t be surprised if you’d already seen this:

Words simply cannot express.
That’s quite sick, but not surprising- the end game is a culture with no restraint or taboo.
Good collection of images Flavia.
There are so many things you could have included to show the differences between then and now, and we aren’t talking about that many years ago.
How many mothers, let alone the daughters, know how to do embroidery or sew anymore?
Those parents taking their sexting pictures ought to have their children taken away …. but to be honest, who would really want those kids knowing how they’d been previously parented – little Dontaevious has probably watched his mother try to make him a little brother.
Face painting, okay, but tramps stamps on kids are not cool.
And somebody needs to slap the shit out of that white pregnant teen besides Dontaevious’s bigger brother, who we all know is beating on her already.
